Story line - The Purge: Election Year:
It's been two years since Leo Barnes (Frank Grillo) stopped himself from a regrettable act of revenge on Purge Night. Now serving as head of security for Senator Charlie Roan (Elizabeth Mitchell), his mission is to protect her in a run for president and survive the annual ritual that targets the poor and innocent. But when a betrayal forces them onto the streets of D.C. on the one night when no help is available, they must stay alive until dawn...or both be sacrificed for their sins against the state.

I am just now getting into The Purge series, in which, I did not watch Part I yet but that is on my list of things to do this weekend so by the time the release of The Purge: Election Year (part 3) is released on July 1st (early preview), I will be all caught up.

From what I am gathering about the series where a purge is a twelve hour period of where all crime is legal. The films are created around politics, social reform, horror, science fiction, and horror. That sounds scary enough. Imagine that anything and everything is okay to do for only 12 hours? What would you do? Would you join in the purge?

Here is the preview to The Purge: Election Year set to be released in theaters right on time for July 4th weekend.
